     The Vela's extensive knowledge of South Texas Whitetail habitat along with 20 years of intense Deer Management gives any hunter an experience to remember for a lifetime. Rancho Nuevo's deer herd is 100% free ranging within our perimeter high fence.  This allows the hunter and guide all 2,400 acres to find the perfect trophy.   Our buck to doe ratio of  1 to 1.1 gives the hunter a better than average chance of seeing several good quality whitetail bucks.
